You will be one of approximately 13 land surveyors specializing in cadastral proceedings, and your colleagues in the department are knowledgeable and enjoy collaborating. The department also includes land surveying engineers and administrators.

We are located in the City Hall in the center of Uppsala, with excellent transport connections right outside the door. There are also opportunities for remote work when the tasks allow.

Description of Duties

The work will consist primarily of handling cadastral proceedings. As a land surveyor specializing in cadastral proceedings, you will perform both independent work and team-based work. There is great potential for variation in cases, ranging from simpler matters to larger, more complex ones, such as infrastructure and pipeline proceedings.

Qualifications

You have an academic education with a focus on land surveying, or another education that the employer considers equivalent and relevant for the position. You also hold a B-class driver's license. It is an advantage if you have several years of experience as a land surveyor specializing in cadastral proceedings, especially if you have worked with disputed cases and have experience applying the Pipeline Rights Act and the Infrastructure Act.

You take initiative by starting activities yourself and driving the work forward toward results. You collaborate well with others, are receptive, communicate clearly, and contribute to resolving situations in a smooth and constructive manner. You are flexible and adapt easily to changing circumstances, see opportunities in new situations, and can quickly change your working methods if needed. At the same time, you are structured – you plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively and meet set deadlines.

Uppsala Municipality applies individual and differentiated salary setting according to the current collective agreement.

In your application, you must state your citizenship. Employment can only take place after verification of the work permit, as required by the Aliens Ordinance.

Employment with Uppsala Municipality may involve being placed on the war establishment (critical infrastructure protection).
